Care and Washing

All new Inserts should be pre-washed before use to increase their absorbency.  Inserts will reach their maximum absorbency after about 6 washes, but a minimum of 2-3 times is fine.

No soaking necessary. Just rinse them off and put them in a lidded dry bucket until washing day, Easy!   With a soiled nappy shake any solids off the fleece liner, or nappy down the toilet. Take inserts out of the nappies. Place your soiled nappy and inserts inside the bucket and put the lid on.  Leave until you have enough nappies for a wash. Machine wash cold, or hot.(Up to 40 degrees)

Do not use any fabric softeners on the nappies, as it can build up on the microfleece and stop it from wicking, then will cause leakages.

To dry your nappies it is best to line dry, the sun is a natural bleach. A drying rack also works very well.  Tumble drying is not recommended as it can shorten the life of your nappies.

Note: Nappies can become fluffy after washing due to excess bits coming off the microfiber, to avoid this, wash inserts and pockets separately Or use a laundry bag for the pockets.
